Why GENWISE? 

"Because we needed something we didn't have."  

 

After working with both of my parents as they sorted through their late spouses' affairs, my siblings and I were at a crossroads.   We knew we had to proactively help  them organize their personal, financial and legal information - they couldn't do it alone.  

There was  information we needed but didn't have and there was information they had but we didn't know about. 

 

We are all busy with our own careers, families, etc.  Some of us live too far to stop by to look for and look through their information.  The overwhelm was quickly creeping into our lives. 

 

We needed a good solution that would organize all important information, enable each of us to access it at any time and communicate updates so that we were all on the same page.

 

I created GENWISE to make life easier for all of us - now and in the future.  

Honestly, it has helped me and my 3 siblings tremendously as we navigate different issues with each parent. 

 

Whether you use it for your family, your parents, or someone else, it will be a valuable resource.  Yes, it requires effort to complete, but it's worth the work on the front end rather than being in a difficult situation and scrambling to find what you need. I've been on both sides of this.  The first one is easier.
